The Senate of the University of Miskolc has recognized the Hungarian Banking Association’s decades long professional efforts in supporting the university’s Faculty of Economics with the “Outstanding Supporter of the University of Miskolc” award.
With this award, tthe university recognized the Hungarian Banking Association’s efforts to promote the professional development of economics students, its role in the establishment of the Fintelligence Lecture Hall, and its contribution to organizing professional events and conferences. The certificate was presented on September 4 in Miskolc Egyetemváros by Prof. Dr. Zita Horváth, Rector and Chair of the Senate.
The long standing collaboration between the Hungarian Banking Association and the University of Miskolc is a prime example of how partnerships between higher education and the financial sector can contribute to educating and preparing future economic professionals. The relationship is further strengthened by the fact that Dr. Levente Kovács, Secretary General of the Hungarian Banking Association, has been a professor and head of department at the University of Miskolc for 15 years, contributing to the cooperation between the university and the Hungarian Banking Association through his personal professional commitment.
